This turns out to be a better deal than you would initially think, most TagMe decks use a lot of viruses and have cards which either prevent all meat damage or make dealing meat damage very expensive for the Corp. Usually the Corp card which causes the most pain is Closed Accounts, and with a good bit engine even this is not much of a problem. The tag deck I am playing at the moment is built around Armageddon and tries to prevent the Corp from being able to install any cards. At the moment it consists of: Hardware: Bodyweight Data Creche [This one can get toasted by a Power Grid Overload, but the extra run is important and I can always recycle it after a MIT, plus the additional MU is a bonus] Militech MRAM Chip x 2 [A must have for a BSB/OD bit engine] Full Body Conversion [Makes meat damage expensive] Armored Fridge [Buy time until FBC is out] Programs: Big Frackin' Gun Pile Driver Codecracker [Not the cheapest breakers to use, but I only need to make one successful demolition run on R&D and it is all over] Armageddon x 4 [There is nothing like slapping a corp with 12 doom counters for two actions (plus the Bodyweight Run)] Pox [Pay 2 or 4 bits to _try_ to install ice on R&D...] Deep Thought [Just in case an agenda is at the top of R&D I want to know] Garbage In Garbage Out [If all else fails deck the corp or destroy that Urban Renewal] Succubus Afreet x 2 Imp [mem chips can be toasted by Power Grid Overload, so daemons are a must] Emergency Self Construcut [Just in case...] Preps: Bodyweight Synthetic Blood x 10 Organ Donor x 3 MIT West Tier x 4 [The primary bit engine] Drone for a Day x 4 [A key card for tag decks, it costs one bit less than Score! and gives you one bit more.] Demolition Run [To destroy the ice on R&D] All Nighter x 3 [After the demolition run you need to hit the corp with a bunch of doom counters so that they do not ice up R&D again.] Gideons Pawnshop [Put in after I had the last MIT I had been saving got sniped out of my hand by a Solo Squad] Valu-Pak Software Bundle [To put all of the Armageddons out at once and surprise the corp, it can also help if you happen to run into a Haunting Inquisition...] This deck will build as quickly as it can, drawing lots of cards, using organ donor to turn the ones I do not need yet into bits, and putting out icebreakers and daemons as quickly as possible. Lots of the cards which are more important in the endgame (multiple MITs, GIGO, etc.) are sacrificed to the organ donor during this build. Once the deck is ready it will make a demolition run on R&D to toast the ice and slap on doom counters, and then run R&D again and again. One nice advantage of using Armegeddon is that I do not access the top card of R&D, so there is no need to worry about traps, etc. Once the doom counters are in place the Corp is screwed. The only thing which can save the Corp is an Edgerunner or Overtime Incentives to dump the doom counters and put ice on R&D. Otherwise the corp can do nothing but pull in cards and wait to get decked. Since this is a tag deck it cannot use Code Viral Cache, so if the Corp manages to ice R&D it can clear the virus counters and the whole process begins again... This deck works very well against speed decks. With Armageddon in play there is no way to install the agenda, so they just end up accumulating in HQ and eventually get tossed into the archives. An occasional archives run will pick these up, and if the corp does manage to clear the doom counters and install agenda you can make a shot at HQ, which will probably be filled with agenda. As with other tag decks, this one is willing to take the tags and bet that the corp does not have the ability to flatline the runner (FBC and the Fridge help, and ESC is always there just in case the corp has a Schlaghund already installed when you make the demoltion run.) jim
